Mid-Winter Classic Romance: A Classical Emotional Journey

Mid-Winter Classic Romance: A Classical Emotional Journey

03/12/2022, 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Indiana University, Havens Auditorium

Our Feb 5th concert was moved to March 12th due to weather and for the safety of our musicians and patrons.

We present the deep, dark drama of Romantic music starting with the mystical saga described in Weber's Overture to Der Freischutz, continuing with the despair painted by the Prelude from La Traviata by Verdi, leading to the Beethoven's Symphony No. 5, which starts with the four most famous notes in classical music.  We will finish with an audience favorite, the tragic romance from Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera.  A magical date night at the symphony!  Tickets ordered will be at will call if they are ordered two weeks prior to concert.  $20 single ticket.   College student $5; Students K-12 free.
