The Kokomo Symphony Orchestra (KSO) invites you to our Ambassador Program, where you can play a vital role in helping us grow and thrive. We’re currently seeking passionate individuals who want to get involved with the symphony program and be part of our journey.
By signing up and completing your registration form, you’ll unlock a world of opportunities to connect closely with the orchestra, musicians and community. You’ll receive a mission-oriented email guiding you through your hands-on experience with the KSO.
As a KSO Ambassador, your ongoing mission will be to:
- Spread the Word: Communicate with your family, friends, colleagues and fellow band members (or students) about KSO concerts and youth events. Help us reach new audiences by sharing information on how to purchase tickets
- Promote in Your Community: Place promotional materials in key locations within your community. Help us generate buzz and visibility for the KSO by distributing event information and flyers to your friends and acquaintances.
- Grow the Activity: We’re seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals committed to expanding the reach and impact of the KSO. Join us in fostering a thriving arts community and inspiring more people to engage with our symphony.
As a KSO Ambassador, you’ll have additional opportunities to get involved. You can serve as an usher during our latest KSO events, where you’ll directly contribute to the smooth operation of our performances. You may also have the chance to distribute promotional materials at local events in Kokomo, including First Friday. Moreover, there will be opportunities to administer our print newsletter mailing.

SOCIAL MEDIA
A hashtag is a type of label or tag used on social network services that makes it easier for users to find related content with a specific theme or topic. Users create and use hashtags by placing the hash character (or pound/number sign) “#” in front of a word or unspaced phrase, either in the main text of a message or at the end. Searching for that hashtag will then present each message that’s been tagged with it.
KSO has created a hashtag, #GrowKSO, to unify our Ambassadors and prospective audience members and help us feel connected to each other, turning a concert into an experience that we can instantly tune into and view pictures, messages and videos.
